"Loved the musicians! Thank you" - Daniel 31st December 2014
Staff and guests at the party commented that you "made the party" and music selection was everything I imagined and hoped for. THANKS!! - Phillipa of Glentworth December 2014
Hi Ben, I haven't had a chance to get in touch with you but just wanted to say thank you so so much for the music at our wedding on Saturday. Unfortunately I heard much less than the guests but the feedback I received has been that the music was beautiful, and what I did hear and see particularly in the vestibule at Stamford was just wonderful! Allen said it really set the tone for our
reception and saved waiting time at the church haha. - 27 Nov 2014
Strings At Hand musicians perform on stage as well as at functions. We are all rounded musicians and truly freelance musicians. We love it!
If you want to experience first-hand the quality of two of our regular musicians, come see Danielle Bentley (cello) and Benjamin Greaves (violin) perform on stage with 4 dancers and 2 other fabulous musicians.

Violin and Viola lessons are available with Strings At Hand and Collusion Music Director Benjamin Greaves.
Lessons are at Ben's studio in Clayfield and can be scheduled during after school times. Generally between 3.30pm and 7pm. Ben is a highly experienced educator. His students have reached diploma levels and been accepted into both Qld youth Orchestras and Australian Youth Orchestra programs. Some have also been accepted into tertiary music institutions throughout Australia.
Ben believes in creating technical proficiency on the instrument so that students gain ease of playing, creating an ability to learn music quickly and efficiently. Early developmental stages see the student learning essential musical/theoretical concepts in conjunction with the playing of the instrument rather than written lessons in theory so that practise is put into play from the early stages of learning. i.e. students will learn the ability to count, understand rhythmic concepts while playing the instrument. They will be fluent in reading music. An emphasis on sight reading; the understanding of semitones, tones, and intervals will be learned in conjunction with playing the instrument.
Students will no doubt have fun in lessons as the eventual ability to read music fluently will allow the student to practise many duets with the teacher: from classical to pop music. Folk, rock, ballads and world music are all explored in lessons. Advanced and committed students may be invited to enrol in AMEB exams.
Feel free to call 0404 646 709 to enrol in lessons or email from our connect page. 2014 lessons commence from 01 February 2014.
A beautiful performance today from our musicians supporting disability services in Ipswich. Flute, Violin and Cello Trio treated customers at a significant venue opening today.
I hope you're well.
I just wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU to yourself and Alex for playing at our wedding. I had hoped to formally introduce myself to you on the day, but one minute we're at the ceremony, the next at New farm park for photos!
I had received so many comments on your music. It was beautiful. I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know.
Thank you again!
